Myrtle House is a spacious farmhouse, located in a beautiful part of Somerset.
The house is equipped to cater for the elderly and disabled, with a stair-lift, ceiling track for a hoist in the downstairs toilet (please enquire for more details about this facility), grab rails near the toilets and 'wet shower room' facilities downstairs and up.
Outside, there is ramp access to the house and road along with both front and rear gardens. Guests also have the option of relaxing on the patio where there is garden furniture and a BBQ.
Separately there is a self contained Annex which has been designed to accommodate wheelchair users. This strictly follows the guidelines laid down in the National Accessibility Standards and will sleep two or three people comfortably. It has a special needs bedroom and bathroom.
The house is set in its own land, surrounded by gardens, a paddock and fields usually grazed by cows and calves; this makes a fantastic base for a relaxing vacation. Myrtle House is situated with easy access to the Devon/Dorset borders and coast and is also within easy striking distance of many beautiful gardens and attractions.
